Prices and shipping charges

All prices contain the statutory VAT and other price elements, and are to be understood plus shipping costs that may apply. We do not sell to businesses so we do not issue VAT receipts, nor do we refund the VAT.
Shipping charges:
Directopia delivers with no minimum order value and free UK delivery, second class or first class for a fee stated at checkout, international items are sold with a delivery fee. Shipping costs to other countries are different for each product, depending on dimension, weight and country. Customers will not incur additional shipping costs should a delivery be divided into several consignments for technical or logistical reasons.

Dispatch and delivery:
Unless stated otherwise in the offer, the delivery period is 2 to 3 working days (Monday-Friday) after dispatch. International orders can take up to 21-28 days delivery.
Directopia predominantly uses Royal Mail for deliveries, royal mail doesn’t usually deliver or collect on bank and public holidays. There also may be a delay due to seasonal posting such as Christmas holidays. We also retain proof of postage for all outgoing mail.
In the event that some of the ordered products are not in stock, Directopia shall be entitled to provide partial deliveries at its cost provided this is acceptable for the customer.
In the event that Directopia is unable to deliver the ordered product because Directopia itself is not supplied by its own suppliers, without culpability on the part of Directopia, Directopia may withdraw from the contract. In such a case, Directopia shall inform the customer without delay and propose a comparable product. If a comparable product is not available, or if the customer does not wish to have that product delivered, Directopia shall, without delay, reimburse payments made by the customer. Deliveries are free of customs duties within the EU. In the case of delivery in countries outside the EU customs duties, taxes and other levies that may apply shall be borne by the customer.
In the event that supplied products are damaged en route, the Directopia customer service is to be contacted, where possible, without delay. As a result, Directopia shall have the option of lodging a complaint with the carrier or transport insurer regarding the damage.
In order to fulfil customer orders Directopia needs to pass on the customer email address and where available contact phone number to the delivery company authorised to delivering the goods. This forms part of the contract with Directopia.
